Medical School Alumnus Elected to National Osteopathic Board
Richard R. Thacker, D.O.,
Richard R. Thacker, D.O., a class of 1992 Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine alumnus, was elected as the 3rd vice president of the American Osteopathic Association’s Board of Trustees at the organization’s annual House of Delegates meeting in Chicago in July. Thacker serves as an internal medicine physician and chairman of the board for the Capital Regional Medical Group in Tallahassee and is active at the state level, serving as a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) as well as the association’s president in 2006-07.
