Medical School Alumna Named Physician of the Year
Michelle R. Mendez, D.O., receives her Physician of the Year Award from Jeffrey Grove, D.O., FOMA president and a 1990 NSU-COM alumnus.
Michelle R. Mendez, D.O., a 1996 Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine graduate, received the Physician of the Year Award from the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) during its annual convention held Feb. 23 to 26 in Weston.
This honor is given to an osteopathic physician who, during the past year, has made significant and considerable contributions not only to the osteopathic profession, but also to the community on both a local and statewide level.
