M.B.A. Alumnus Named One of 56 Women Leaders in Hospitals
Pauline Grant, M.B.A. alumnus from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and CEO of Broward Health North Broward Medical Center, was named by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 56 Women Leaders of Hospitals and Health Systems. The recognition, which was reported in the Oct. 12 edition of The Westside Gazette newspaper, highlights the talents and extraordinary accomplishments of today’s most notable female leaders in the health care industry.
According to Becker’s, “The women featured in this list have demonstrated the ability to lead through daily oversight of hospital or health systems operations, financial turnarounds, quality improvement initiatives and much more.”
Grant has worked in health care for more than 37 years. As the CEO at North Broward Medical Center she is responsible for the strategic leadership of a 409-bed hospital and an Adult Level II Trauma Center, Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center, Neurological Institute, Joint Replacement Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Spine Care Center and Wound Care Center.
