Henderson Student Counseling Services – Mid-semester blues RELIEF is here!
NSU provides psychological counseling services to its students FREE of charge. These services can help you with a wide variety of life issues where additional support and guidance may be beneficial. If at any time you have concerns about anxiety, stress, time management, relationship challenges, substance abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts, family concerns, sexual assault, body image issues, self-esteem, academics and career development, recent life events or just want to talk to someone, this service is available to you. NO REFERRAL is needed from anyone at NSU. These services are provided by Henderson Student Counseling Services, which is a local, nationally accredited provider that is conveniently located in a comfortable environment where you can explore any of these concerns and speak to a professionally trained and licensed counselor.

- Individual counseling
- Couples counseling
- Family counseling with children 12 years old and up
Payment
Part-time and full-time students can participate in up to 10 sessions per year from the date of the first appointment and counseling sessions are available at no cost.

Monday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Tuesday 9:00am – 8:00pm
Wednesday 9:00am – 8:00pm
Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Confidentiality
Henderson Student Counseling Services has a legal responsibility to protect the student’s medical information. Protected Health Information is information about a person that may identify him/her in that it relates to a person’s past, present or future physical/mental health, condition and/or related health care services.
When a student comes to Student Counseling, we keep what is told to us confidential, revealing no information to anyone outside our office, including professors, administrators, family, or friends. Our records stay in-house, separate from academic and/or medical records.
