HR offers workshop seminars – Trigger-Proof Your Way to Success, Feb. 21

The 2013 Lunch and Learn series offered by NSU’s Office of Human Resources is underway!

Led by author, psychologist, and educator Gay Lynn Grigas, M.A. Psy., the Trigger-Proof Your Way to Success series will focus on solutions to common workplace problems. Presented as twelve easy-to-use “tools,” each seminar will provide strategies showing you how to change your responses to workplace “triggers.”

Offered as part of the “Workplace Learning and Performance” training programs, each seminar below is FREE and open to all NSU employees. Lunch is provided or feel free to you bring your own.

You may have missed the first session offered in January; but you are welcome and invited to join us throughout the year for the remaining sessions.

Each seminar below will be held in the Carl DeSantis Building, room #3049 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

■July 11 – Tool 7: Refuse to Take Things Personally: It’s Not About You

■Aug. 8 – Tool 8: Evict People Renting Space in Your Head

■Sept. 12 – Tool 9: Avoid the Misery Addict

■Oct. 10 – Tool 10: Choose Your Battles Wisely

■Nov. 14 – Tool 11: Every Thought That Comes into Your Head Should Not Fall out of Your Mouth

■Dec. 12 – Tool 12: Attitude Advantage: Being Resilient
