Managing Cognitive Decline in the Chronically Ill: An Inter-Professional Approach, Nov. 1
Nova Southeastern University will host a seminar that examines how legal, medical, and psychological professionals can assist their clients and patients who suffer from chronic illnesses and as a result, have needs that involve multiple professionals.
The seminar will take place Friday, Nov. 1 at NSU’s Lifelong Learning Institute – 3424 South University Drive (adjacent to NSU’s main campus), Davie, and will be led by practitioners and faculty from NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center and Health Professions Division. Speakers include Law Professor Kathy Cerminara, LL.M, J.S.D.; Attorney Adam S. Goldberg, LL.M; Naushira Pandya, MD; and Michelle Gagnon Blodgett, Psy.D.
The Florida Bar has approved 5.0 hours of CLE credits for this seminar, including 2.5 hours Elder Law Certification and 1.0 hour for mental illness awareness.
Early Bird Registration is $50 (until October 16, 2013) and Regular Registration is $75 (until October 28, 2013). There is not cost for NSU Faculty and students but you must pre-register to reserve a seat.
