Maintenance to Impact NSU’s Telephone System on All Florida Campuses
Nova Southeastern University will be performing maintenance on its internal telephone system, which will interrupt our ability to use the system for a short period of time. Here’s what you need to know:
- Maintenance is scheduled to be performed from 2:00-4:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 4. This time was selected as it should have the least impact on campus operations.
- The work will involve every NSU building on every NSU campus (offices, classrooms, clinics, residence halls) in Florida (our campus in Puerto Rico will NOT be affected).
- During the work, NSU phones will not be operational. That means you will not be able to place a call on any NSU-based landline including office phones, Blue Light Emergency phones, and elevator emergency phones.
- During this time, anyone on campus can still use their mobile phones to make calls.
- If you encounter an emergency on campus during this time, call 9-1-1 immediately from a mobile phone as the landlines will not be operational.
- If you need to contact a NSU Public Safety dispatcher directly while NSU phone service is unavailable, please call one of the following numbers:
- 954-473-8694 or 954-463-8908
- NSU Public Safety is working to have safety personnel at various locations on our campuses during this time as a precaution.
