Local Musicians to Compete in Annual Ars Flores “Young Artists” Competition at NSU, Feb. 9
Witness musical stars in the making. The Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, will host its annual concert of talented young musicians competing for a spot in a future Ars Flores performance.

Performing and Visual Arts Wing, Room 309 | Don Taft University Center
Part of the college’s Resident Series, this competition showcases two divisions of young, gifted musicians. Division I includes secondary-level musicians from grades 9 to 12, while Division II includes musicians at the college, university, or conservatory level, up to the age of 25.
The students will perform solos, with a panel of judges determining the best in show. The winners of this year’s competition will earn the prestigious opportunity to perform with the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra in a special concert at NSU on Saturday, Apr. 20.
