LitLIVE! Starts March 17

The Broward Public Library Foundation’s Literary Feast will host LitLIVE! –  a free event on Sunday, March 17 from 12:30-5:00 p.m., in the Alvin Sherman Library. This event will feature eighteen nationally known authors, including Bob Spitz, Tess Gerritsen and Meg Gardiner who will speak on panels and sign copies of their books.

LitLIVE! opens with a discussion of the works and lifestyle of literary icon Edith Wharton by Wharton scholars Jennie Fields, Irene Goldman-Price and Richard Guy Wilson. The event includes a creative writing workshop, led by three of the Feast authors – mystery writer Ace Atkins, short story author Tania James and Irene Goldman-Price – from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Five NSU professors/authors will also be featured on a panel from 2 to 3 p.m. They include Stanley R. Cohen, James E. Dean and Barbara Brodman, Michael Reiter and Art Weinstein. Anne Rambo will moderate their discussion.
