Library Hosts Final Film of Modern French Film Festival
NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library will host the final film in the FREE French film series called “The Tournes Festival: New French Films on Campus.” The film will be shown in the Knight Auditorium of the Carl DeSantis Building on NSU’s main campus.
The screening is free and open to the public. Film includes English subtitles. The remaining film is:
- Un Prophete (A Prophet) on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.
This highly acclaimed and award winning French crime-drama deals with a young man who is sent to prison and the life influencing impact jail and criminal society has upon on him. In some reviews the film has been compared to The Godfather. Discussion to follow.
