Lecture: Dr. Salomon Grimberg

 

March 27 at 2 – 3:30 pm

Stanley and Pearl Goodman Lecture on Latin American Art with Dr. Salomon Grimberg on Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera

Salomon Grimberg, co-author of the Frida Kahlo catalogue raisonné and other books and articles about the artist, will speak on Frida Kahlo: The Still Lifes. Dr. Grimberg is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas. He has a private practice in child psychiatry and writes on various aspects of the creative process. Book signing following the lecture. Copies of Dr. Grimberg’s books will be available for sale in the Museum Store. All proceeds from the sale of books support the Museum’s exhibitions and art education programs. $10 per person, includes Museum admission; free for children under 12, Members, NSU students and faculty. This lecture is sponsored by Susan and David Samrick.
