Learn How to Land Summer Biology, Medical Internships Info Session, Oct. 28

Do you want to land a biology-based internship this summer but are afraid of the application process? Have no fear—a free information session is here!

The Trick to the Treat of a Summer Internship
Tuesday, October 28, 2014
Noon–1:00 p.m.
Carl DeSantis Building | Courtyard

Hosted by the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the meeting will focus on how and why to apply for summer internships in medicine and biology, such as the college’s Biology Student Internship Program and the annual international Human Cadaver Prosection Program. Internships take place in the United States and abroad, from Illinois to Austria.

Several faculty members who serve as advisers for these internships will be on hand to answer questions about the programs and provide more information. Past interns will also speak about their experiences.

The event is free, and all undergraduate students are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Emily Schmitt, Ph.D., professor and associate director of the college’s Division of Math, Science, and Technology, at (954) 262-8349.
