NSU to host Leadership and Multimedia Conference – Jan. 27
The Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement and the Office of Student Media have established a new partnership in leadership and media development by establishing NSU’s Inaugural Student Leadership Multimedia Conference on January 27, 2018.
This new daylong conference provides the opportunity for NSU students to join other college and high school students in an environment designed to enhance students’ skills and knowledge, as well as engage them to think critically about issues related to media and leadership development.
Attendees will learn from a variety of speakers and facilitators–both faculty and staff from NSU as well as outside speakers that have significant professional expertise in their respective industries.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives from local businesses, non-profits, and media outlets at the Leadership & Multimedia Internship Fair, which complements the conference by allowing students to learn about and apply for internships.
