On Apr. 10, members of the Shepard Broad Law Center student organization Democratic Law Student Council (DLSC), had the opportunity to meet the President Barack Obama. Thirteen Law Center students and three professors were in attendance at an event held at the Westin Diplomat in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Student members of the DLSC are members of the Democratic Party as well as the legal profession. Their mission is to promote and encourage social awareness, community activism, volunteerism, and political action by creating a forum for students to gather, organize, debate, and become informed of important political issues.
