Professor Fran Tetunic has been appointed by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles T. Canady to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Rules and Policy Committee of the Supreme Court of Florida. The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the Supreme Court regarding rules of practice for court-ordered mediation, court-ordered non-binding arbitration, voluntary trial resolution, and court-connected voluntary binding arbitration, as well as the establishment of standards for training of court-appointed mediators and arbitrators.

Tetunic previously served two terms as chair of the Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee of the Supreme Court of Florida. She is the Director of the Law Center’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic, and teaches Elder Law and the Mediation Workshop.
