Law Graduates Sworn In to Florida Bar; Passage Rate Surpasses Statewide Average

Graduates of the Shepard Broad Law Center who recently passed the Florida Bar Exam were honored for their achievements and sworn into The Bar at a special ceremony held at the Law Center on Sept  21. Judges Melanie May ‘81, Robert Diaz ‘84, Thomas Lynch ‘77, Marcia Beach ‘88, Susan Greenhawt ‘93, and Elijah Williams presided at the swearing-in ceremony. 

In the July 2010 Florida Bar Exam results released on Sept. 20, NSU law graduates surpassed the statewide average with a passage rate of 80.8 percent. The statewide average was 79.2 percent.
