Law Dean Jon M. Garon and Professor of Law Jane Ellen Cross Speak at Democracy in the Americas Symposium
NSU Shepard Broad Law Center Dean and Professor of Law Jon M. Garon welcomed the panel of speakers for the presentation, “Rule of Law: Governance & Security.” Professor and Director of the Caribbean Law Programs Jane Ellen Cross presented during the panel as part of a two-day symposium, Democracy in the Americas Symposium (DITAS), November 6-7, 2014. The symposium was a dynamic gathering of world dignitaries, multi-national corporate leaders, prominent scholars, students, and social innovators whose mission is to preserve democracy by presenting innovative trends in policy, trade, technology, social innovation and economic developments in an effort to transform these ideas into action.
The Zambrano Foundation is a non-for profit organization dedicated to promote projects to educate, train and mentor the next generation of leaders of the Americas. The foundation is devoted to bringing together the leaders of the Americas in order to develop, promote and empower innovative social and educational programs where disenfranchised societies can strengthen democracy, economic development and equality.
