Cynthia Duval, Associate Director of Career and Professional Development at NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center, was recently featured in Law Practice Today, the monthly webzine of the ABA Law Practice Division. The publication is the leading magazine on the business of practicing law. It offers insightful advice and practical tips on marketing, management, technology and finance.

Prior to career services, Duval served two terms as a federal judicial law clerk for the United States District Court Middle District and Southern District of Florida. She also worked in local government as Assistance City Attorney for the City of Hialeah and as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel. She practiced in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, nursing home litigation defense and employment law. She is a graduate of University of Miami School of Law.
