Sandrine Gaillard-Kenney, Ed.D., chair of the Department of Health Science in the College of Allied Health and Nursing, will be the featured speaker at the NSU Speaker’s Forum on May 14. She will give an overview of the distance and campus-based programs in the Department of Health Science.

Gaillard-Kenney has been in her current position since 2008. Prior to chairing the department, she was the director of the Master of Health Science program for four years.  A native of France, she relocated to the U.S. in 1998 and has been with NSU since 2000. In 2007, she received a doctorate of Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from the Fischler School of Education and Human Services.

The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum is sponsored by Larry Calderon, Ed.D., NSU’s vice president for community and governmental affairs. Taking place each Friday from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., these forums allow speakers from the university to speak on a vast array of topics, including their latest programs, research, campus activities and more. The forum includes breakfast as well as a question and answer session at the conclusion of the speaker’s presentation.
