Knoll Earns Her First SSC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
The Nova Southeastern University women’s cross country runner Anabel Knoll (Fr., Ingolstadt, Germany) has been selected as the Sunshine State Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Knoll outran all the SSC women contenders at the Moccasin Invitational this past Friday,Sept. 25 in Lakeland, Florida. Knoll finished the 5K race with a time of 19:24, almost 15 seconds faster than the next runner in the race. This was Knoll’s second official race with the Sharks and the first official SSC race in her collegiate career.
The Sharks will be back to race at the Disney Classic on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 8 a.m. in Orlando, Florida.
