Kish and Baroniel Presented at DII Identity Workshop

NSU Associate Athletic Director/SWA, Compliance, Sport Admin. & Internal Operations Kelley Kish and SAAC President and baseball starting pitcher Roberto Baroniel (Jr., Miami) spoke at the NCAA Division II Identity Workshop at Palm Beach Atlantic.

This is the second year in a row that Baroniel has attended the event and the first for Kish. Baroniel attended as a representative for the Sunshine State Conference last year, but Kish and the pitcher served as presenters this year.

Baroniel and Kish’s presentation was title SAAC on Your Campus and focused on the best practices for SAAC organizations on DII campuses. Kish is the athletic representative for NSU’s SAAC while Baroniel serves as the president of the SSC and NSU SAAC. During their time with SAAC, NSU has increased student-athlete involvement at games and raised funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the official charity for NCAA DII.​ Complete Release
