Jordan Crowned as Track and Field All-American
Nova Southeastern University women’s track and field collected their biggest individual accomplishment of the season through Sherrelle Jordan at the NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field Finals on Saturday, May 28 in Bradenton, Florida.
Jordan (Jr., Chandler, Ariz.) advanced into the women’s 100 meter hurdles final round with a time of 13.62 seconds and a fifth overall place on Friday evening. Her outstanding performance allowed her to have chances of claiming the All-American honors, an award that is the ultimate goal for most college athletes. Only a selected few have the privilege of reaching the level of competition she has so far, and even fewer get to receive the prestigious mention.
