Join us for the Broward Public Library Foundation’s FREE LitLIVE! Book and Author Event, March 16
Twenty-one best-selling authors, including Robin Cook (Cell), Dani Shapiro (Still Writing), John Grogan (Marley and Me) and Martha Grimes (The Way of All Fish), will speak at NSU on Sunday, March 16, as part of the Broward Public Library Foundation’s LitLIVE! book and author event. LitLIVE!, which will be held at the Alvin Sherman Library, opens with a talk by “South Beach Diet” Doctor Arthur Agatston on his latest book, The South Beach Diet Gluten Solution, at 11:30 a.m. in the Miniaci Performing Arts Centre. From 1 to 5:30 p.m., the authors will speak individually and on panels and sign their books.
LitLIVE! is an event of the Broward Library Foundation’s Literary Feast weekend, which includes the fundraising Night of Literary Feasts and Novel Day for Students, when the authors visit Broward high schools and NSU to speak about their books and the craft of writing. Dollars raised make possible for such Broward County Library programs as free computer classes, free ACT/SAT prep classes for high school students, and the Summer Reading Program for children, teens and adults. NSU is the presenting sponsor of Literary Feast. For details and the day’s schedule, see attached brochure or visit literaryfeastonline.org.
