Join the FRUVEMENT, Jan. 17
Get FRUVED (FRUits and VEgetables) is a national movement to assess, promote and support healthy living among university students. As a USDA grant-funded project sponsored by the Master of Science in Nutrition program under the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, Nova Southeastern University joins with 90 colleges and universities for community-based action, health promotion activities, social media marketing and environmental change on campus through advocacy. Get FRUVED targets overall wellness by focusing on food behaviors, physical activity and stress management ideas.
Look for your FRUVED team at the Wellness Bash “Eat Clean 2018” on Wednesday, January 17 in the Health Professions Division. We will be kicking off the Innovation Kitchen at the HPD cafeteria on Wellness Wednesday’s with “NSU Healthy Shark” dining selections. You can check out the Innovation Kitchen menu on-line at https://www.dineoncampus.com/nova/ or on the iShark mobile app. Wellness Events are posted on-line at http://www.rec.nova.edu/wellness/index.html. Take advantage of these outstanding opportunities!
