Join Sallarulo’s Race for Champions 5K Run/Walk to Support Special Olympics, Nov. 8
The 9th Annual Sallarulo’s Race for Champions, is set to kick off from Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) spectacular campus on Saturday, November 8. Hundreds of runners and walkers alike will participate in this USA Track and Field certified 5k race around NSU’s scenic campus. Participants will enjoy post-event refreshments and entertainment at the Carnival of Champions honoring our very own Special Olympics Athletes of Broward County.
All proceeds from the race will benefit Special Olympics Florida – Broward County, whose mission is to provide year-round sports trainings and athletic competitions for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The run start starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp from NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library. Registration is available online at http://www.firstgiving.com/raceforchampions/2014. There is no cost for NSU students, staff and alumni who register under SPONSOR and join team Nova Southeastern University.
REGISTER FOR THE SALLARULO’S RACE FOR CHAMPIONS
Step 1: Go to http://www.firstgiving.com/raceforchampions/2014
Step 2: Click the Green “Register Button” on the right hand column.
Step 3: Register now: pick your registration choice:
Sponsor – free
Enter the NUMBER of people you are registering. Click on GREEN register button.
Step 4: Create an account; Type in your information –and click NEXT
Step 5: Type in the information for the person who is registering for race. Click to accept waiver and click NEXT.
Step 6: join team Nova Southeastern University
Step 7: Now you are going to create your personal fundraising. Follow the onscreen instructions so you can start customize it!
Step 8 – Click on the last green button and you are registered.
