Join NSU’s HPD and Alvin Sherman Libraries to Take Action Against Hunger, Ends Sept. 30
In celebration of Hunger Action Month (September), NSU’s Health Professions Division and Alvin Sherman Libraries are collecting nonperishable food donations during September. There is a collection box located in both libraries.
This nationwide campaign is hosted by Feeding America and aims to mobilize the public to help raise awareness about the issue of hunger and take action to help end it. Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks and the largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Through a network of approximately 325 nonprofit partner agencies, Feeding South Florida serves 871,920 individuals struggling to put food on the table throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties.
Take action against hunger by making a donation today!
