Join Fellow Colleagues at the Quality of Life Council Meeting, June 12

The Quality of Life Council cordially invites any interested NSU faculty, staff and/or students to join us for the next Quality of Life Council meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 8:30am to 11:00am.  The meeting will be held in the President’s Dining Room of the Horvitz Administration Building on NSU’s main campus, and will showcase research aimed at improving the quality of life in Broward County.

Our FY 2011 award winners Barbara Packer-Muti, Ed.D, Ron Chenail, Ph.D., and Andrew Wolfson are scheduled to present the results of their project, “Discovering the Lived Experience of Licensed Medical Foster Parents of Children with Special Needs.” Additionally, FY 2011 award winners, Tammy Kushner, Psy.D, Marguerite Bryan, Ph.D, Leslie Taylor, Ph.D, Zachary Scott, and Kelly Armstrong will also be presenting the results of their project, “Armed Encounters.”

Attending the meeting is a great way to learn more about the wonderful research being conducted by our own NSU faculty and students in the Broward County community, and learn more about available research opportunities.

Questions?  Please email: Angela Yehl, Psy.D, at yehl@nova.edu.

We hope to see you there!
