Jennifer Reeves named Fischler College of Education’s Professor of the Year

Jennifer Reeves, Ph.D.

Jennifer Reeves, Ph.D., is the 2016-2017 Fischler College of Education (FCE) Professor of the Year. She was recently honored at the 16th Annual Faculty Reception, held at the Cotilla Gallery of NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library. Those in attendance were also treated to the opening of “100 Maps that changed the World: Discovery of the Americas and the Establishment of the United States (from the Collection of Neal Asbury).”

Reeves is an Associate Professor in the Department of Higher Education Leadership and Instructional Technology, as well as the Director of Dissertation Support Services at the college.  Reeves serves on various university-wide committees, including the Academic Review Committee, QEP Assessment Advisory Committee, and the Provost’s Research and Scholarship Council; and serves as chair of the FCE Faculty Council. Reeves regularly presents at national conferences and recently had two articles accepted for publication: Online professional development embedded with mobile learning: An examination of teachers’ attitudes, engagement, and dispositions in the British Journal of Educational Technology; and Mobile learning in Pre-kindergarten: Using student feedback to inform practice in the Journal of Educational Technology & Society. She has been with NSU since 2005.
