Interested in Quitting and Staying Tobacco-Free? NSU is ready to help! Free Tobacco Cessation Programs begin July 25

The NSU Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program and the Healthy Lifestyles Guided Self-Change Program offer group and individual programs designed to motivate and help smokers prepare to quit, select a quit date, and learn strategies and skills to quit and stay tobacco-free.


Quit Smoking Now Program:

Quit Smoking Now is a free 6-week tobacco cessation group.   FREE Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches, gum, and lozenges) will be provided to eligible participants while supplies last.

A new Quit Smoking Now group will begin Monday, July 25.   The group meets each Monday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. for 6 weeks.  (Group meeting dates:  July 25, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29)


Relapse Prevention Group:

For those who have quit smoking and would like additional support, the “Stay Quit” Support Group is available. “Stay Quit” is an ongoing relapse prevention group meeting every Tuesday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on the Nova Southeastern University Main Campus.
