Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine Research Highlighted by Department of Defense
Research conducted by NSU’s Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine in the College of Osteopathic Medicine is being highlighted on the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs website.
The article titled “Theory-Driven Models for Correcting “Fight or Flight” Imbalance in Gulf War Illness” focuses on DoD funded research on Gulf War Illness.
It includes photos of Nancy Klimas, M.D., director of the Institute, and Gordon Broderick, Ph.D., director of the Institute’s Clinical Systems Biology Group and professor at the NSU Center for Psychological Studies and College of Pharmacy.
