Hitler’s Museum: The Secret History of Art Theft During World War II

The chilling historical program examines the secret plan Hitler enacted during the Third Reich to create the largest art collection in Europe at this home in Linz. As Nazi forces began their advance through Europe in 1939, they also began plundering each area of its own precious, ancient, and exceedingly valuable artistic achievements, including the Belgian the Ghent Altar, one particularly treasured artifact that Allied forces went to extreme ends to recover.
