Ian Facey Paces Men’s Golf to a Win at Guy Harvey Invitation

Eight years in the making and it finally happened. The Nova Southeastern University men’s golf team took home the team title at the 8th-Annual Guy Harvey Invitational for the first time since becoming the tournament host in 2005. The Sharks fired a three-round 848 (-16) on the 6,868-yard, par 72 PGA National Champions course on Tuesday afternoon.

Not only did the Sharks win the team title, Shark youngster and Miami, Fla. native Ian Facey won his first-ever individual collegiate title to help pace NSU along the way. A sophomore on the defending national champion Sharks team, Facey fired three consecutive rounds under par (66-70-71) to finish at nine under for the tournament. His three-round 207 beat the field of 74 by three strokes. Complete Release
