Nova Southeastern men’s basketball players Robert Huntington (Sr., Perth, Australia) and Lukas Roesch (Jr., Sugar Grove, Ohio) were named to the Capital One Academic All-District V team, as announced by CoSIDA Thursday. Both student-athletes will be eligible for Academic All-America consideration.

Huntington, who holds a 3.8 cumulative GPA as an exercise and sports science major, is the Sharks’ leading scorer at 11.5 points per game on 58 percent shooting. Huntington also averages 3.8 rebounds per game and has swatted a team-best of 16 shots in 2012.

Roesch, who holds a 3.3 cumulative GPA as an exercise and sports science major, has been a spark plug in several different roles for the Sharks this season. He averages 8.5 ppg and pulls down 3.5 boards a contest. He is shooting 53 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the foul line. His 159 total points ranks him third on his squad. Complete Release
