Hundreds Participate in 2013 NSU’s Shark Shuffle
Shark Shuffle 2013
NSU’s annual Shark Shuffle was again, a tremendous success with just over 700 people contributing to this cause as walkers, runners, and volunteers.
In addition to promoting health and wellness among the NSU community, the Shark Shuffle also provides opportunities for students completing the 5K to participate in a raffle for scholarships and community participants to participate in a separate raffle for great prizes.
This year, event organizers were able to award:
- 26 student $500 awards
- 5 Volunteer awards
- 2 University School awards
- 1 Galaxy S IV (NSU employee)
- 2 Roundtrip Airline Tickets (NSU employee)
- 1 Year RecPlex membership (NSU employee)
- 4 Dolphin tickets with VIP parking (Community member)
