Human Resources to Host Two Free Development Workshops for NSU Employees beginning Oct. 19

The Office of Human Resources will host two free development workshops for employees which will be held in the University Park Plaza North Building, room 108.

The first workshop, “Managing Change,” facilitated by Robert Preziosi, M.Ed., D.P.A. , will be offered on Oct. 19, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  This workshop will help employees gain skills to deal with a variety of change issues. Participants will be introduced to concepts that allow them to appropriately lead their peers and associates using change management techniques and tools.

The second workshop, “Lean Six Sigma White Belt,” facilitated by Frank Voehl, M.Ed., D.P.A., will be offered on Oct. 28, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., with an hour lunch break. This 6-hour workshop program has been designed to provide the core concepts of Lean Six Sigma with a focus on Lean practices and quality improvement tools.   The program is taught with small group interaction and hands-on exercises.
