Three Huizenga School Professors Win National Author Award
Randall Rentfro, Ph.D., assistant professor of accounting; Karen McKenzie, Ph.D., professor of accounting; and Judy Harris, D.B.A., associate professor of accounting from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship teamed up to write and publish the article “Building Trust or Mistrust: The Search for Performance Reporting from a Citizen’s Perspective.”
The article has been chosen as the recipient of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) 2010 National Author Award, which is selected from all of the articles published in AGA’s Journal during the program year. The winner of this prestigious award is decided by the journal’s editorial board, and is based on the article they think has made the most significant contribution to the profession.
The award will be presented on July 13 in conjunction with AGA’s 59th Annual Professional Development Conference & Exposition at the World Center Marriott in Orlando.
