Huizenga School Professor Travels to Pakistan to Present Research, Lead Workshop, Participate on Panel
Bahaudin G. Mujtaba, D.B.A., professor of management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, presented his research at the International Conference on Management Research (ICMR) in Lahore, Pakistan on Dec. 15-16. Professor Mujtaba discussed a paper that he coauthored, titled “Re-Industrialization Lessons, Policies and Strategies for a Post-Revolutionary Period in Cuba.” The conference was sponsored by Superior University of Pakistan, the University of Newcastle, Australia, and Rouen Business School of France.
In addition, Mujtaba also presented a two-hour workshop on “Situational Leadership amid a Diverse Workplace: Considerations for Fairness and Employee Development,” and served as a panel member discussant on “Emerging Market’s Future: Business, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Finance.” The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Sikander Khan, Professor and Pro Rector, Superior University, Lahore, and included faculty members from universities in France, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States.
