Huizenga School Professor Speaks to Middle School Students on Economics
More than 80 eighth grade students from Aventura City of Excellence Schools visited the NSU main campus on May 6. During their campus visit, Albert Williams, Ph.D., assistant professor of economics at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, spoke to the students about the economic impact of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
A group of students from the Aventura City of Excellence Schools visit NSU each year for a college experience day, which is coordinated through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In addition to Professor Williams’ lecture, the students enjoyed a tour of the campus and lunch in the Don Taft University Center food court.
