Huizenga School Professor Publishes Article about Systems Development Process

Cynthia Ruppel, Ph.D.

Cynthia Ruppel, Ph.D., associate professor of information technology at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, recently published an article titled, “A Socio-Technical Approach to Improving the Systems Development Process.”

The article, which was co-authored by Ravi Patnayakuni – a professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, was published in Information Systems Frontiers in April. The article discusses the research about how to improve the systems development process, particularly by drawing upon social-technical work design principles.
