Huizenga School Hosts High School Students for Business Workshop
The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship hosted students from Stranahan High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) club on Mar. 23. The students traveled to NSU’s main campus to participate in a business education workshop.
The workshop included a mock college lecture given by Barri Litt, M.S., professor in accounting at the Huizenga School. The students also participated in a career development workshop presented by Camille Wright, coordinator of campus relations for the Office of Career Development. Following the presentations, the BPA students were given a guided tour of the campus and enjoyed lunch in the Don Taft University Center food court.
This is the fourth consecutive year Stranahan High School’s BPA club has visited NSU for the educational workshop.
