Huizenga Business School to Unveil New Sales Institute
The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art Sales Institute. The Sales Institute will be housed on the third floor of the Carl DeSantis Building. The 8,200-square-foot institute features a large multipurpose room that can hold receptions or other events, two conference rooms, and 16 mock sales presentation/interview rooms.
The Huizenga Business School’s emphasis on sales is the result of feedback from nearly 40 businesses throughout Florida that said sales skills and education are desired from their employees, but is currently lacking.
In response to this need, the Huizenga Business School will now offer undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs through the Sales Institute. To provide sales management materials for courses, the Huizenga Business School has partnered with Sandler Training®, which has been ranked No. 1 for training programs 10 times in Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500.
A new Bachelor of Business Administration degree will be added to the Huizenga Business School’s curricula, which will include four required sales courses. Other new programs include an undergraduate minor in professional sales, M.B.A programs in sales and sales management, graduate certificate programs in sales and sales management, and required sales courses in all of the Bachelor of Science programs.
