Huizenga Business School Professor Serves as Expert for Educational Events in Afghanistan and Pakistan
During a recent three-week visit to Afghanistan and Pakistan from Oct. 10-30, Bahaudin G. Mujtaba, D.B.A., professor of management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, participated in a variety of educational events.
Mujtaba participated as an invited member of a study group on “Grievances and the Radicalization of Society,” which was sponsored by the National Security Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul, Afghanistan. As a group member, Mujtaba made recommendations that will go to the President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, for possible implementation.
In addition, on Oct. 27, Mujtaba participated at the Panelist Debate and Discussion at the Chamber of Commerce in Lahore, Pakistan. He spoke about the issue of “Evolution versus Revolution: Historic, Economic, Social, and Political Implications for Pakistan.”
Finally, Mujtaba presented his research titled “Diversity Challenges and Management: Considerations for Decision-Making in Business” at a seminar sponsored by COMSATS Institute of Technology in Lahore, Pakistan.
