Huizenga Business School Professor Publishes, Presents Finance Articles
Pan Yatrakis, Ph.D., professor and chair of finance and economics at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, had his behavioral finance paper accepted for publication in Advances in Business Research. The paper was titled “The Jewish Holiday Effect: Sell Rosh Hashanah, Buy Yom Kippur,” and was co-authored by Albert Williams, Ph.D., assistant professor of economics at the Huizenga Business School.
In addition, Yatrakis recently presented one of his international finance papers at the annual meeting of the Southern Finance Association. The paper was titled “The Effects of Cultural Differences on Knowledge Assets and U.S. MNCs’ Firm Value: A Three-Valuation Model Approach,” and was co-authored by Kenneth Norton, D.B.A., a Huizenga Business School alumnus and professor at Claflin University.
