On Sept. 28, NSU students were invited to attend the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s grand opening for its new, state-of-the-art Sales Institute.
The grand opening featured presentations by Michael Fields, Ph.D., dean of the Huizenga Business School and Charlie Pettijohn, D.B.A., director of the Sales Institute. In addition, the uPitch for iPad contest for all NSU undergraduate students was announced. The students also received an overview of the features, technologies, and academic programs available at the Sales Institute. Lunch from Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza was served, and attendees were able to participate in a raffle for various prizes.
The event ended with full guided tours of the new facility, where students saw firsthand the 8,200-square-foot institute. The institute is home to The Grand Room, a large multipurpose room that can hold receptions or other events, two conference rooms, and 16 mock sales presentation/interview rooms.
