Huizenga Business School Hosts Jacki Tuckfield Scholarship Awards

On Saturday, Mar. 10, the 14th Annual Jacki Tuckfield Memorial Graduate Business Scholarship Fund Awards reception was held at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s Sales Institute. The Scholarship Fund awarded 52 recipients from 12 Florida universities, including 27 recipients from the Huizenga School of Business.  A total of $65,000 in scholarship funds was distributed, and each recipient was awarded $1,250.

The scholarship is awarded to students in master’s and doctoral programs or related business fields. The scholarship was established to foster intellectual wealth building, and to fulfill Jacki Tuckfield’s, Ph.D., vision to improve diversity in the executive, administrative and managerial levels of the South Florida workforce.

In addition to the awards proceedings, the Huizenga Business School presented Gloria Tuckfield with a special appreciation plaque recognizing her as a champion of diversity and expressing gratitude for her vision, extraordinary support and lifetime of dedication.
