He is the founder of AutoNation, Inc., the country’s first and world’s largest publicly owned automotive group. Huizenga has an unwavering dedication to the South Florida business and philanthropic communities, and his unparalleled accomplishments more than qualified him for this prestigious award.

The three-day Gala was held at the renowned Boca Raton Resort & Club from Feb. 25-27.

In addition to Mr. Huizenga’s award, the event’s festivities also included an award presentation to renowned comedian Jay Leno for his extraordinary dedication to the preservation of classic cars. Leno was also the featured celebrity entertainer of the Gala.
