Huizenga Business School Alumnus, Adjunct Professor Appointed to Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Committee
Allen Yessman, a 1992 graduate of the Master of Accounting program and a current adjunct professor of accounting at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, was recently appointed to the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (FICPA) Relations with Accounting Educators Committee by its state board. Allen is also currently involved with the Institute of Management Accountants as its current state president and has served on global committees for the institute.
The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) serves as the association for all CPAs in the state. Founded in 1905, FICPA has been working to advance the accounting profession in Florida for more than 100 years and now has more than 18,000 members. Continued membership growth and renewal has made FICPA one of the largest CPA organizations in the United States.
