Hudson Center Holds Lean Six Sigma Training for NSU’s Facilities Management Team
The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s Hudson Center of Entrepreneurship and Executive Education recently completed two sessions of the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification program for Nova’s Facilities Management department. A total of 41 team members participated in the training sessions.
Lean Six Sigma White Belt provides an introduction and overview of Lean and Six Sigma philosophies, methodologies and concepts and serves as the first step on the path to Yellow, Green and Black Belt certifications. White Belt participants are introduced to the structure, tools and techniques of Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Analyze, Improve, and Control) processes, learn the benefits of Six Sigma implementation and the roles of various team members.
The goal of Lean Six Sigma is to improve processes, minimize waste and resources, and deliver better results and outcomes. In addition to offering executive education and training programs to external business professionals and organizations, the Hudson Center provides a number of training and executive education programs to NSU departments and their teams.
