HSBE Distinguished Lecture Series Presents Keith Koenig

Keith Koenig, President of City Furniture

Keith Koenig, President of City Furniture

“Lessons Learned from a Waterbed Salesman” will be the topic for the next Distinguished Lecture Series to be presented by the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship on Thursday, February 25, at 10:30 a.m. in the NSU’s Carl De Santis Building, room 3000.

Distinguished guest lecturer Keith Koenig will share his insight as president of City Furniture, a retail company with 26 showrooms in central and southern Florida under two brand names—City Furniture and Ashley Furniture HomeStores. City Furniture evolved from Waterbed City, which was started by Koenig’s late brother, Kevin.

Koenig is active in many South Florida community organizations, receiving local and national recognition, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, the Sun Sentinel’s Excalibur award, the University of Florida’s Outstanding M.B.A. Alumnus award and Furniture Retailer of the Year. He is past board chair of the University of Florida Foundation and was made a Knight of St. Gregory by Pope John Paul II.

Please RSVP by February 19 to http://bit.ly/dlskoenig. For more information, contact (954) 262-5006 or go to: www.huizenga.nova.edu
