Davie-Cooper City Chamber 11.13: Robert Weissbein, Davie-Cooper City Chamber of Commerce chair-elect; Irv Rosenbaum, D.P.A., Ed.D., HPD executive dean; and Patrick Eloi, Davie-Cooper City Chamber of Commerce chair

Irv Rosenbaum, D.P.A., Ed.D., executive dean of NSU’s Health Professions Division, delivered the keynote address at the November meeting of the Davie-Cooper City Chamber of Commerce at Signature Grand. Rosenbaum spoke with the approximately 75 business and community leaders about the importance of the community supporting approval of the NSU Research and Academic Medical Center, which HCA East Florida has applied with the state to build on NSU’s campus. He also discussed NSU’s plans for the Academical Village, which will include both the medical center and the soon-to-be constructed Center for Collaborative Research. NSU sponsored the meeting and Jessica Brumley, NSU director of design and construction, serves on the chamber board.
